Fresh English translation

Realized knowledge makes heat and cold, honor and insult equal; contentment and peace become its home, while the guru's word rests upon its head as mother, father, friend and kinsman. In cañcarīka meter, the Lord tells Śruti to hear how devotion is filled with ornaments. The Beloved's fame crushes the mind's impurity; love flashes forth. Draped in humility and favorable to Hari, she burns with character's fire. The red dye of longing and the dispassion of yoga color her; anklets sound, cymbals give a deep resonance, and steadfast intelligence fills her. Forgiveness is her bracelet, true knowledge her jewel, and realization her splendid bangle. The Name is her necklace, devotion her weighty adornment, and remembrance the thread upon which it is strung. In the solitude of Hari's devotees she becomes a flower; her nose-ring removes the triple affliction. Constant holy company colors her eyes and chooses for them the color of longing's form. Contentment and bliss become her tilaka, virtues fill the parting of her hair, purification and remembered wisdom anoint her entire body. Replete with a treasury of beauty and beyond the reach of poetic clans, the beloved stands adorned. Rāmacaraṇa says the stubborn ignorant person contests such beauty like a child reaching for the moon. In durmilā meter, longing for holy company burns the four goals, vehicles, pride and reputation. The shell of the vast cosmic egg breaks when Hari's glance falls. Deception, agitation, pride and greed depart; the mind's grime and stain are gone. 'Come, Rāmacaraṇa—grant me company where Rāma's story is ever new.'
