The thirteenth avakāśa praises incomparable yoga, dispassion, knowledge, and realized knowledge. The Lord in fourfold manifestation is inaccessible, yet his grace makes him as easy to reach as holy company. Difficult yoga leaves him far away and distances abundant joy; regulating prāṇa, apāna and samāna, fixing the brow and nose-tip, also leaves him far. The incomparable struck sound breaks the adamantine bell with its edge; consciousness is held like a moon, revelation, waterless wind, or lamp. There is a single lake of nectar, the thousand-petalled lotus filled with love's rasa. Whoever's heart-bee drinks there makes the whole world his servant. Dispassion is a good funeral pyre on which one burns day and night, seeing the three qualities, occult powers, home, self and heaven as separately ripening refuse. It abandons accumulated, current and begun karma even when their three courses meet; Rāmacaraṇa honors such dispassion as his crown. Knowledge is a swan in the lake of scripture, choosing the pearls of Rāma's qualities; like the Milk-Ocean sleeper, it drinks milk and leaves the water of the three qualities. It removes every desire, dwelling constantly in forgiveness and contemplation of Rāma's fame. May the dust of that station's footstool rest upon his twentyfold head. Blessed is exclusive realization, delighting in the Lord's form throughout moving and unmoving creation, regarding sin and merit, pleasure and pain, friend and foe, hell and heaven alike.
