A night without moon or stars has settled over the inner world. Shapes have lost their names. Paths vanish a few steps from the feet, and the accumulated darkness of great delusion rises like a wall across every direction.
At the centre of that night stands the Guru, Hari clothed in human form, an ocean of grace contained within an ordinary outline. Tulsidas bows at his lotus feet. Then the Guru speaks. Each word breaks across the darkness like a cluster of sunrays, touching what fear had distorted and revealing what ignorance had concealed.
The night does not retreat by argument. It disappears because light has arrived. The seeker sees the road, the surrounding world, and the one who had been wandering through it. Above the horizon of the heart, morning becomes irreversible.
One word leaves the Guru's lips, and the long night has nowhere left to stand.
Read the passage from the Manas
बंदउ गुरु पद कंज कृपा सिंधु नररूप हरि। महामोह तम पुंज जासु बचन रबि कर निकर।।5।।
I bow at the lotus feet of the Guru, who is an ocean of grace and Hari himself in human form. His words are a flood of sunlight that scatters the thick darkness of the great delusion.
