A Majestic Voice Fills the Sky

The Lord knows the fear carried by the gods and Mother Earth. He receives not only their statements of danger but the love in which those words have been steeped.

Then a deep, majestic voice arises from the open sky. No visible form accompanies it, yet authority fills every direction, reaching the gathered assembly without travelling from any single place.

Sorrow and doubt dissolve at the sound before the promise itself is fully unfolded. The voice answers Shiva's teaching: the all pervading Lord manifests through love. Heaven becomes the chamber of his reply.

Across the gathered worlds, an unseen voice enters every fearful heart at once.

Read the passage from the Manas

जानि सभय सुरभूमि सुनि बचन समेत सनेह। गगनगिरा गंभीर भइ हरनि सोक संदेह।।186।।

Knowing that the gods and Mother Earth were stricken with fear, and hearing their words steeped in love, a deep and majestic voice arose from the sky, dispelling all sorrow and doubt.
