Brahma's hymn rises through the assembly: victory, victory to the Lord of the gods, giver of joy to devotees and protector of everyone who comes in surrender.
He invokes the welfare of cows and the twice born, the very lives Ravana's reign has made its targets. The prayer names the Lord as slayer of demons, not for conquest alone, but to restore the conditions in which gentleness, learning, worship, and dharma may breathe.
Victory is offered also to the beloved husband of Sindhusuta, Shri Lakshmi born from the ocean. Compassion and power, preservation and abundance, the Lord and his Shakti are remembered together before Earth and heaven.
Brahma's victory hymn gathers the cow, the sage, the surrendered heart, and Lakshmi beneath one protection.
