The Lord explains that by his own divine will he will assume human form and manifest in their dwelling. His sacred portions will accompany him, and together they will perform deeds that delight devotees. Those fortunate enough to hear with reverence will abandon attachment and pride and cross the ocean of existence.
Primordial Shakti, through whom the world was created, will also incarnate by his Maya. The vision of Sita beside him is therefore a promise as well as revelation. The divine couple will enter earthly relationship and enact the Leela for which worlds are waiting.
Again and again the treasury of mercy declares the vow true, then disappears. Manu and Shatarupa hold the gracious Lord within their hearts, remain in the hermitage for a time, and finally leave their bodies without struggle to dwell in Amaravati.
The visible form vanishes, but the promise of Ram and Sita remains alive in two hearts.

इच्छामय नरबेष सँवारें। होइहउँ प्रगट निकेत तुम्हारे।। अंसन्ह सहित देह धरि ताता। करिहउँ चरित भगत सुखदाता।। जे सुनि सादर नर बड़भागी। भव तरिहहिं ममता मद त्यागी।। आदिसक्ति जेहिं जग उपजाया। सोउ अवतरिहि मोरि यह माया।। पुरउब मैं अभिलाष तुम्हारा। सत्य सत्य पन सत्य हमारा।। पुनि पुनि अस कहि कृपानिधाना। अंतरधान भए भगवाना।। दंपति उर धरि भगत कृपाला। तेहिं आश्रम निवसे कछु काला।। समय पाइ तनु तजि अनयासा। जाइ कीन्ह अमरावति बासा।।
"Assuming a human form by My own will, I shall manifest in your home. With My amshas (divine portions), O father, I shall take a body and create pure glory in many ways."
