Vrishaketu completes the sacred history of Manu and Shatarupa before Uma. The birth in Ayodhya now stands connected to a devotion so absolute that it asked the formless Lord to enter the tenderness of parent and child.
Yet no single cause can exhaust an incarnation. Curses, the burden of earth, the welfare of devotees, and the ancient boon of the royal ascetics weave together without reducing divine freedom to one necessity.
Yajnavalkya turns again to Bharadvaja and asks him to hear another reason for Shri Ram's birth. The Katha opens farther, revealing that every path toward Ayodhya carries its own sorrow, longing, grace, and hidden appointment.
One promise reaches Ayodhya, and Shiva opens another road toward the birth of Ram.
