What Ram wills comes to pass, and no power can move against it. Narada leaves Shiva's unwelcome counsel, visits Brahma's realm, and travels onward with an excellent veena in his hands. Hari's virtues flow through his skilled singing as he approaches the ocean of milk, where Shrinivasa, master of the Vedas, abides.
Lakshmi's Lord rises joyfully to receive the sage and seats him nearby upon a throne. With a smile, the ruler of all moving and unmoving beings says that Narada has shown great kindness by coming after so many days. Welcome, honour, and divine affection surround the visitor.
Narada tells the entire story of Kamadeva despite Shiva's warning. The triumph sounds once more in his own voice before the Lord who supplied its hidden protection. Raghupati's Maya is immeasurably strong. No embodied being can claim immunity from its power.
Before the ocean of milk, Narada sings Hari's glory and quietly offers Hari his pride.

राम कीन्ह चाहहिं सोइ होई। करै अन्यथा अस नहिं कोई।। संभु बचन मुनि मन नहिं भाए। तब बिरंचि के लोक सिधाए।। एक बार करतल बर बीना। गावत हरि गुन गान प्रबीना।। छीरसिंधु गवने मुनिनाथा। जहँ बस श्रीनिवास श्रुतिमाथा।। हरषि मिले उठि रमानिकेता। बैठे आसन रिषिहि समेता।। बोले बिहसि चराचर राया। बहुते दिनन कीन्हि मुनि दाया।। काम चरित नारद सब भाषे। जद्यपि प्रथम बरजि सिवँ राखे।। अति प्रचंड रघुपति कै माया। जेहि न मोह अस को जग जाया।।
Whatever Ram wills, that alone comes to pass. No one can make it otherwise. Shambhu's words did not please the sage's mind. He then set off for the realm of Brahma.
