Vishnu listens and makes his face grave. The sage has arrived expecting recognition, and the Lord responds with words so gentle that their deeper medicine remains concealed.
He tells Narada that remembrance of such a sage destroys delusion, desire, pride, and arrogance. Each named fault is the very chain now tightening unnoticed around the visitor's heart. Praise becomes a mirror, but Narada hears only the polished surface and not the reflection within it.
Compassion does not expose him harshly before the court. The Lord lets tenderness cover the diagnosis. Beneath the solemn expression, the next act of grace is already forming, designed to uproot what a direct warning could not reach.
Hari names every hidden fault so softly that Narada mistakes the diagnosis for praise.
