Narada recounts the earlier story and asks Maina to receive his words as truth. Her daughter is Jagadamba, unborn, beginningless, imperishable Shakti, eternally dwelling as one half of Shambhu.
Through her, worlds arise, endure, and dissolve. She assumes bodies only through her own will and Leela. The girl Maina held in her lap is not a fragile life placed helplessly before fate.
Narada traces the divine continuity. She was born first in Daksha's house as Sati and married Shankara. Later, seeing Ram on the forest road, delusion arose and she took Sita's form. The sorrow now surrounding this wedding began in that ancient moment.
The daughter in Maina's arms expands into the power through which creation appears.

तब नारद सबहि समुझावा। पूरुब कथाप्रसंगु सुनावा।। मयना सत्य सुनहु मम बानी। जगदंबा तव सुता भवानी।। अजा अनादि सक्ति अबिनासिनि। सदा संभु अरधंग निवासिनि।। जग संभव पालन लय कारिनि। निज इच्छा लीला बपु धारिनि।। जनमीं प्रथम दच्छ गृह जाई। नामु सती सुंदर तनु पाई।। तहँहुँ सती संकरहि बिबाहीं। कथा प्रसिद्ध सकल जग माहीं।। एक बार आवत सिव संगा। देखेउ रघुकुल कमल पतंगा।। भयउ मोहु सिव कहा न कीन्हा। भ्रम बस बेषु सीय कर लीन्हा।।
Then Narada enlightened everyone and narrated the full story from the past. "Maina, hear my true words: your daughter Bhavani is none other than Jagadamba, the Mother of the entire world."
