Narada completes the arc. Because Sati assumed Sita's form, Shiva withdrew from her. Separation led her eventually to surrender the body at Daksha's yajna in yogic fire.
She has now taken birth in Himavan's house and performed terrible tapasya for the same eternal husband. The bride waiting in the palace is not being handed to an unknown ascetic. She is returning to Shankara through a vow that crossed death.
Maina is asked to abandon doubt. Girija has always been dear to Shiva, and this marriage is the visible reunion of what no ultimate separation could divide.
Across two births and one consuming fire, Sati returns to Shiva as Parvati.

सिय बेषु सती जो कीन्ह तेहि अपराध संकर परिहरीं। हर बिरहँ जाइ बहोरि पितु कें जग्य जोगानल जरीं।। अब जनमि तुम्हरे भवन निज पति लागि दारुन तपु किया। अस जानि संसय तजहु गिरिजा सर्बदा संकर प्रिया।।
"Sati once assumed the guise of Sita, and for that transgression Shankara renounced her. In anguish of separation from Shiva, she then gave up her body at her father Daksha's yajna."
