At the height of the palace sorrow, word reaches Narada. He comes at once to the house of the snow mountain, accompanied by the seven great sages.
Eight figures enter a household divided between celestial celebration outside and maternal grief within. Their arrival carries the missing knowledge by which appearance will be understood.
The same Narada whom Maina blamed now stands ready to reveal who her daughter and future son-in-law have always been. The room quiets as the travelling sage prepares to speak. The secret is ready to emerge.
Narada crosses the threshold, and the secret history of the bride enters behind him.
Read the passage from the Manas

At that very moment, hearing the news, Narada arrived at once at the home of Himavan, accompanied by the seven great rishis.
