Shiva opens a future before the grieving Rati. When Krishna descends in the Yadu line to lift the earth's immense burden, Kama will be born as Krishna's son. In that form, known as Pradyumna, he will return to the wife who now kneels beside his ashes.

The promise joins one divine descent to another across ages. The fire beneath Shiva's brow has not erased relationship. It has carried reunion into a later Leela where the word of Mahadeva cannot fail.

Rati departs holding that assurance. The telling turns to the gods, who gather with Vishnu and Brahma and approach Shiva. Each offers praise until the moon crowned ocean of compassion asks why the immortals have come.

Rati leaves the ashes carrying the name of a son not yet born in Krishna's house.

Read the passage from the Manas

"When Shri Krishna takes birth in the Yadu dynasty to lift the great burden from the earth, your husband shall be born as Krishna's own son. My word, O Rati, can never prove false."
