रामचरन अभिराम कामप्रद तीरथ-राज बिराजै। संकर-हृदय-भगति-भूतलपर प्रेम-अछयबट भ्राजै॥ १ ॥ स्यामबरन पद-पीठ, अरुन तल, लसति बिसद नखस्रेनी। जनु रबि-सुता सारदा-सुरसरि मिलि चलीं ललित त्रिबेनी॥ २ ॥ अंकुस-कुलिस-कमल-धुज सुंदर भँवर तरंग-बिलासा। मज्जहिं सुर-सज्जन, मुनिजन-मन मुदित मनोहर बासा॥ ३ ॥ बिनु बिराग-जप-जाग-जोग-ब्रत, बिनु तप, बिनु तनु त्यागे। सब सुख सुलभ सद्य तुलसी प्रभु-पद-प्रयाग अनुरागे॥ ४ ॥
Rāma's delightful, desire-granting feet reign as the king of holy fords. Upon the ground of devotion in Śiva's heart, the imperishable banyan of love shines. (1) The backs of the feet are dark, their soles crimson, and a bright row of nails gleams there—as though Yamunā, Sarasvatī, and Gaṅgā had joined and flowed as a lovely Triveṇī. (2) The marks of goad, thunderbolt, lotus, and banner are its beautiful whirlpools and playful waves. Gods and good people bathe there, and it is the delightful dwelling of the sages' joyful minds. (3) Tulsī says that through love for this Prayāga of the Lord's feet, every happiness becomes immediately attainable—without detachment, recitation, sacrifice, yoga, vows, austerity, or abandoning the body. (4)
