Rāmacandra's lotus hands are wish-fulfilling trees dear to Vāmadeva. They are entwined by the lovely vine of Sītā's affection and enclosed by the excellent garden wall of Lakṣmaṇa's pure love. (1) His exquisitely auspicious body is their root, his fingers their lovely branches, his hairs their leaves, his nails their flowers, and the fulfilled desires of good people their fruit in every season. (2) Their shade is steadfast, stainless, free from pain, dense, lovely, and without deceit; it quiets every affliction, sin, disease, delusion, pride, arrogance, and māyā. (3) Pure sages, like bees and birds, joyfully serve there and attain their desires. Remembering those hands, Tulsī's heart rejoices; surging with love, he sings their virtues. (4)
