Today Raghubīra's beauty cannot be described. Sītā's Beloved sits gracefully upon the throne, delighting the worlds and bearing the splendor of many Love-gods. (1) Beautiful fly-whisks and fans, a parasol, hosts of jewels, and strings of pearls blaze with light. It is as though the moon, swans, stars, and peacocks recognized their Lord within their hearts and came to meet him. (2) A beautiful crown rests upon his head; his noble brow bears tilaka and brows, and curling locks and earrings shine supremely. The twin makaras from Love's banner seem to cling to his ears in fear of Śiva and speak of making peace. (3) His eyes are petals of red lotus and abodes of compassion; his face houses beauty, and his smile destroys the three afflictions. Varied bracelets and necklaces adorn him, and the elephant-pearl garland on his breast is like two rows of cranes moving together toward a cloud. (4) His spotless yellow garment lies over him like broad lightning that has abandoned its restless nature and spread across an emerald mountain. His lovely bow and arrows, mighty arms, and matchless strength accompany a human form that burns the forest of demons and ornaments the earth. (5) He is formless yet embodied, and no one can count his virtues or forms; therefore Śiva, Sanaka and the other sages, and Śuka hold firmly to devotion. The servant Tulsī wishes always to sustain love for Rāma's lotus feet in word, mind, and deed. (6)
