Sundarakāṇḍa Song 46: None Else Is Worthy of Worship

Complete song 264 of 330

There is no other worthy of worship. Who besides Śrī Raghubīra has a heart so utterly full of grace? (1) Tell me: what other god redeemed the stone and then made the boatman his friend? Who gave the fallen vulture funeral offerings with his own hands, as a son would for his father? (2) What god ate Śabarī’s fruit and drank her water? Who seized the monkey by the arm as he drowned in the ocean of fear of Vāli? (3) Vibhīṣaṇa proclaimed the power of devotion, and the monkey host came alive on hearing it. Tulsīdāsa’s Lord, the master of Kosala, is supreme in every way. (4)
