Bālakāṇḍa Song 93: Pināka Breaks at the Lord's Touch

Complete song 93 of 330

Rāma strung the bow of Love's enemy. The sage thrilled, joy filled the city, and heaven, beholding, sounded its drums. (1) That Pināka which had left the kings noseless in disgrace and deepened everyone's grief broke at the touch of the Lord's hand, as though Tripurāri had instructed it to do so. (2) Jānakī placed the victory-garland upon him, and the young women sang auspicious songs. Tulsī says the gods rejoiced and showered flowers; the Lord's fair fame filled all three worlds. (3)
