सुनु, सरित्रि! भूपति भलोई कियो, री। जेहि प्रसाद अवधेस-कुँवर दोउ नगर-लोग अवलोकि जियो, री॥ १ ॥ मानि प्रतीति कहे मेरे तैं कत सँदेह-बस करति हियो, री। तौलौं है यह संभु सरासन, श्रीरघुबर जौलौं न लियो, री॥ २ ॥ जेहि बिरंचि रचि सीय सँवारी, औ रामहि ऐसो रूप दियो, री। तुलसिदास तेहि चतुर बिधाता निजकर यह संजोग सियो, री॥ ३ ॥
Listen, good-hearted friend: the king has done very well. By his grace the people of the city behold Ayodhyā's two princes and live. (1) Trust what I tell you—why let your heart remain in doubt? Śiva's bow exists only until Śrī Raghubara takes it up. (2) The Brahmā who fashioned and adorned Sītā and gave Rāma such a form— Tulsīdāsa says that clever Creator has sewn this union together with his own hand. (3)
