Rāma roams the streets of Ayodhyā, dark as a fresh blue rain cloud, with his younger brothers and many children. (1) Golden shoes adorn his young, red lotus-feet. Yellow cloth and a fine quiver are at his waist; lovely little bow and arrows are in his hands. (2) Gazing upon his beauty, the men and women of the city gain the fruit of their eyes. The four sons of Ayodhyā's lord dwell in Tulsīdāsa's heart. (3)
