मातु सकल, कुल-गुर-बधू, प्रिय सखी सुहाई। सादर सब मंगल किए, महि-मनि-महेस पर सबनि सुधेनु दुहाई॥ १ ॥ बोलि भूप भूसुर लिये अति बिनय बड़ाई। पूजि पायँ, सनमानि, दान दिये, लहि असीस, सुनि बरषें सुमन सुरसाई॥ २ ॥ घर-घर पुर बाजन लगीं आनंद-बधाई। सुख-सनेह तेहि समयको तुलसी जानै जाको चोर्यो है चित चहुँ भाई॥ ३ ॥

All the mothers, the family guru's wife, and lovely dear companions reverently perform every auspicious rite; for Maheśa, jewel of the earth, they have fine cows milked. (1) The king summons the Brahmins and receives them with the highest humility and honor. He worships their feet, honors them, gives gifts, and gains their blessings; hearing this, the Lord of Gods showers flowers. (2) In every house of the city, instruments begin sounding joyful congratulations. Only one whose heart the four brothers have stolen, Tulsī says, can know the happiness and affection of that hour.
