“We women are foolish in every way, yet we have loved you with a pure heart. Among princes, none has shown compassion equal to yours. We can never repay the favor you have bestowed upon us, beloved; a thousand stars can never equal the moon. In whatever birth destiny may place us according to our karma, O connoisseur-king Raghunandana, may we meet you there forever. Even if fate inflicts millions of torments and this body perishes moment by moment, beloved, may the bond between us never break in any birth.”

Hearing these words, the indwelling Raghubara, steeped in the rasa of compassion, honored all the princesses, addressing each with tender speech. Taking leave of everyone, Raghunandana departed with his brothers; it seemed as though four radiant moons had emerged from the Palace of Siddhi. Rama ate paan as the companions of Siddhi walked beside him. They came to the royal palace and appeared before Sri Mother Sunaina.

Raghunandana bowed at her feet, his lotus hands joined, and in exceedingly gentle words asked permission to depart. Hearing her son-in-law's words, virtuous Sunaina's eyes filled with tears of love. She forgot all awareness, unable to decide whether to tell him to stay or go. Recovering her composure, Queen Sunaina presented Raghubara and his brothers with many garments of great value. Receiving the attire, they bowed their heads at her feet and accepted the Maharani's blessings.
