Ananta points beyond the spectrum of mental representations, from the smallest thought to the grandest concepts of God or awareness, to that reality which exists prior to all labels and definitions.

None of these representations truly define that which we call reality.
Everything you are concerned about is between the smallest and greatest representation in thought.
Even 'nothing' is a representation; we must go beyond getting stuck in our spiritual concepts.

Ananta

So today I'm speaking of a special brand of nonsense, a special brand of nonsense you need to hear with a different set of ears in a way. So what we looked at so far—and I don't know whether you, how many online are following—but what we looked at so far was: what is the smallest representation we can have in thought, which is you can say 'nothing' or the thought of something really measly, to the greatest representation you can have in a thought, which is that which is the Absolute or awareness, that which is aware of itself, all these very fancy things, you see.

Ananta

So everything that you are concerned about is between these two. Everything that we're concerned about is between these two. But what is beyond that? I was giving you an example that in the space between two thoughts, before you have the motion 'I am' or any way to represent this, that which is—is it nothing or everything or Absolute? Can any representation truly represent it? In this entire spectrum, can anything come close to what really is being pointed out in a way?

Ananta

And whether you're representing yourself in the spectrum, or representing God in the spectrum, or the Self in the spectrum, or the Absolute in the spectrum, it doesn't matter because none of these representations to me define that which we call reality, you see. And some of you who are new here, don't mind what I'm saying, but you see consciousness, awareness—bigger than that, bigger than that which is aware of itself. Along the lines of 'nothing is higher than the Self,' higher than that of which nothing is higher.

Ananta

We are only concerned within this spectrum of tiny, tiny, tiny, subtle, subtle, subtle to big, big, big, big, biggest. What are you in this? You see, all that we call personal is embedded only in this. To the mind, what I'm saying is strange or weird or crazy because it cannot fathom this, because whatever it is, it is representing. Because it's very much like this—reminds us of that story of the Sufi master. All of you know that story, but ultimately it is the Emperor who asks, 'Are you God?' and this one says, 'No, higher than that.' The guard says, 'There is nothing higher than God.' Now in this story, the Sufi master says, 'That nothing I am.' But what if we didn't even say this? Maybe we said even higher than that 'nothing,' because even 'nothing' is a representation. And it's very much possible for us to get stuck in our spiritual representation even of that. In this way, nothing happened.
