Abhanga 761Devotion to Vitthal

Life under the Influence of Religion

English Translation · I.P. 761

PT1IIE saints have returned me an answer that JL calms all fear; it has given me repose. Now that I have tasted this juice of love, I shall not abandon it; O give me, Narayaua, the gift of thy favour. If destiny grants it as our due portion on earth, we shall stand by thy feet. Tuka says, I worship thee with my lips; I sing of thee in stammering accents.

Tr. J. Nelson Fraser & K.B. Marathe (1909)
