Remonstrances with God

English Translation · I.P. 389

"YTTHEN my doubts are dispelled, 1 perceive a Vy sweet savour, but who can care for what is vapid and tasteless? Now do not deceive me falsely: whither can I go with my entreaties continually? What evil is it if life departs ? what good if it linger on ? Tuka says, You have created us children to love you, so how can you distinguish between us ?
