The Sense of Sin
॥
English Translation · I.P. 384
MY life is altogether wretched; what ground of faith can I see now ? I cannot bear to hear of the world; if I call anyone a friend, 1 find him a stranger. Means of bodily pleasure are poison to me; honour is a snare; dignity and high position are a toil and a burden: my life is weary. Tuka says, 1 can hear nothing else, I delight in the feet of Vishnu’s servants. VIII Remonstrances with God
Tr. J. Nelson Fraser & K.B. Marathe (1909)
