Abhanga 368Confession and Sin

The Sense of Sin

English Translation · I.P. 368

WHEN a little girl goes to her mother-in-law’s house, she looks behind her on the way; so it is with my soul. O Kesava, when wilt thou come to me ? When a child loses his mother, he looks round him anxiously. Tuka says, I am distressed like a fish taken out of the water.

Tr. J. Nelson Fraser & K.B. Marathe (1909)
