राम राम, राम राम, राम राम, जपत। मंगल-मुद उदित होत, कलि-मल-छल छपत॥ १॥ कहु के लहे फल रसाल, बबुर बीज बपत। हारहि जनि जनम जाय गाल गूल गपत॥ २॥ काल, करम, गुन, सुभाउ सबके सीस तपत। राम-नाम-महिमाको चरचा चले चपत॥ ३॥ साधन बिनु सिद्धि सकल बिकल लोग लपत। कलिजुग बर बनिज बिपुल, नाम-नगर खपत॥ ४॥ नाम सों प्रतीति-प्रीति हृदय सुथिर थपत। पावन किये रावन-रिपु तुलसिहु-से अपत॥ ५॥

Repeating ‘Rama Rama, Rama Rama, Rama Rama,’ auspicious joy arises, while Kali’s stain and deceit hide away. (1) Tell me, who has gained a mango’s fruit by sowing acacia seed? Do not lose—do not let your life pass in idle boasting and babble. (2) Time, karma, qualities, and nature burn upon every head, while discussion of the glory of Rama’s Name spreads swiftly. (3) People distraught for every attainment without spiritual means cry out; in the age of Kali, the Name sells throughout the city as the finest and most abundant trade. (4) Faith and love for the Name set the heart firmly in place. The Foe of Ravana purified even an unworthy Tulsi such as this. (5)
