ईस-सीस बससि, त्रिपथ लससि, नभ-पताल-धरनि। सुर-नर-मुनि-नाग-सिद्ध-सुजन मंगल-करनि॥ १॥ देखत दुख-दोष-दुरित-दाह-दारिद-दरनि। सगर-सुवन साँसति-समनि, जलनिधि जल भरनि॥ २॥ महिमाकी अवधि करसि बहु बिधि हरि-हरनि। तुलसी करु बानि बिमल, बिमल बारि बरनि॥ ३॥

You dwell upon the Lord's head and shine along three paths - sky, underworld and earth - bringing auspiciousness to gods, humans, sages, Nagas, perfected beings and the good. (1) At the very sight of suffering, fault, sin, burning pain and poverty, you tear them away. You ended the torment of Sagara's sons and filled the ocean with water. (2) In many ways you set the farthest limit of greatness, captivating Hari and Hara. Make Tulsi's speech stainless, that it may describe your stainless water. (3)
