English Translation
You have one mind as your entire capital. If you divide it among many, how will it serve you? Therefore hold firmly to Panduranga, and let the body keep company with its destiny. Do not entangle the mind in other plans; only then can the true goal be achieved. Says Tuka, know this to be the proper way, and the natural state will reveal itself.

What it means
Tukaram counsels the soul that its one asset is the mind, and a mind divided among many wants is spent for nothing. The remedy is to gather it onto one hold, Panduranga, and let the body simply live out whatever destiny, prarabdha, has assigned it. As long as the mind is scattered into other schemes the goal stays out of reach; undistracted, it is reached. He calls this the fitting way, and promises that when the mind is held single in this manner the natural, settled state of the self shows itself without forcing.
