Having prepared the worship, let us now wave the lamp before the Lord. Today the vow is fulfilled; blessed is this day. Behold him, all you fortunate ones, you beloved children. Says Tuka, I clap in joyful rhythm, standing right beside him.

In Plain Words

Having made ready the worship, let us now wave the lamp before the Lord. Today the vow is fulfilled; blessed is this day. Look at him, all of you fortunate ones, you beloved children. Tuka says: I clap in joyful rhythm, standing right beside him.

What it means

A short, glad arati sung at the moment a long-held vow comes true. The day is called blessed because what was promised and waited for has finally arrived: the sight of the Lord. The singer turns to the gathered people, calling them fortunate children, and bids them simply look at him. The whole feeling is nearness; Tuka is not describing God from a distance but clapping in rhythm right beside him, sharing the joy of the company.
