English Translation
Let the rites be imperfect, the mantras incomplete; do not scrutinize the formalities. Count it all as service, and grant your grace at the end. Having considered every ground and place, my devotion has settled here. Says Tuka, there is no envy left in me now, O God, and no impatience.

What it means
Tukaram asks God to set aside the ritual scorecard: his ceremonies lack the proper mantras and his conduct is imperfect, and he begs that these defects not be inspected. Instead he asks that the whole effort be counted simply as service, with grace granted at the end. Having searched every other ground, his trust has come to rest in this one place. The poem closes in a settled calm that is its real subject: no more grasping, no more impatient demand for results. He has handed the timing over to God and is content to wait.
