English Translation
You are almighty, O Hrishikesha. Console me, console me; why this delay in Your words? Just say 'So be it,' and I will rise and fall at Your feet. Says Tuka, receiving that with joy, I will dance in delight.

What it means
Tukaram appeals to God as Hrishikesha, the all-powerful Lord, and begs simply to be reassured. He cannot understand why God holds back even a word of comfort. All he asks is for God to say So be it, and at that he will rise up and bow at the feet. The poem ends in pure anticipation: with that one word granted, Tukaram will dance for joy. It is a small, intimate plea that turns on the smallest possible gift, a single yes.
