English Translation

By this auspicious blessing, all dualities have been destroyed. Narayana has given me assurance through the gift of inner love. All worry has been dispelled once and for all. Says Tuka, while singing His glory, well-being came rushing out to meet me.

We ask forgiveness for any inaccuracies in rendering Tukaram ji’s original Marathi.

In Plain Words

This blessing is my welfare. All the pairs that pull me apart fall away and die. Narayana has reassured me. He gave me the gift of love inside my heart. Now every worry is cleared away. Tuka says: as I sang the song, my own good came out to meet me.

What it means

Tukaram names a blessing whose work is to end the inner split, the pairs of opposites that keep a person torn. The reassurance does not come as advice from outside; Narayana plants it as love within the heart. From that one gift everything else follows: dualities dissolve, worry is cleared off for good. The closing line is the surprise of bhakti, that singing is not a request that may go unanswered but a meeting, where the singer's own welfare walks toward him.
