Self-Brahman is powerless by itself; united with Power it is the unbroken one, the great Witness, unmanifest, filled with the majesty of Great Time. Sages call it supreme Brahman, and the wise worship it. There the unstruck sound sounds eternally and without interruption. Its brilliance is that of millions of suns, yet it is clear and cool as millions of moons—consciousness, bliss, and Power, held in contemplative knowledge. Unseen, it sees all, like the hand that holds the strings of a wooden woman; drawing together the cosmic egg's many arts and coverings, it assumes them. Seated upon a thousand-colored throne, the supreme Self's form is other; by repeated seeing it is at last seen—so the lord of poets declares. A brief statement of the unbroken Brahman's majesty contains limitless meaning, as a small jewel seen outwardly may hold elephants, chariots, horses and wealth within. The dohas distinguish the perishable, Self-Brahman, supreme Brahman and the beyond, yet Rāmacaraṇa says the four interiors are one. Delusion covers the eye in the perishable, while knowledge's eye scatters happiness; with both eyes blind, how can one see the far shore of supreme Brahman? The colophon closes the eleventh avakāśa, describing the designations Self-Brahman, Supreme Self, and the Beyond.
