When Rama's Sun Illumines the Heart, Virtue Flourishes without Struggle

The vast solar image turns inward. Rama's glory is not only a radiance across the three worlds. It can rise within a single human heart.
When that sun gives light, the qualities named last begin to grow: dharma, knowledge, realization, happiness, contentment, dispassion, and discernment. The qualities named first lose their life: ignorance, sin, desire, anger, envy, pride, and delusion.
No separate battle is described for each darkness. Illumination itself becomes the transformation. What depended upon night can no longer remain, and what waited for light begins naturally to open. Sadhana is gathered into this one inward dawn: allow the glory of Rama to become the heart's governing sun, and the hidden ecology of thought changes around its presence.
The heart need not wrestle every shadow when the sun of Rama's glory has truly risen within it.

यह प्रताप रबि जाकें उर जब करइ प्रकास। पछिले बाढ़हिं प्रथम जे कहे ते पावहिं नास।।31।।
When this sun of glory illumines someone's heart, the qualities named later flourish, and the qualities named earlier meet their end.
