Rama's Grace Rests upon Everyone while the Whole City Sings

Men and women throughout Ayodhya sing Rama's qualities. The hymn heard in one gathering is taken up in another until praise moves through the city like a shared breath.
No class of voice owns the song. Household, street, garden, and marketplace answer one another, and the name of the king becomes the sound by which the people recognize their common joy.
While they sing, Rama remains gracious toward all. The treasury of compassion does not distribute favor through narrow preference. His benevolence rests over the entire city even as each person turns toward him in a distinct voice. Praise rises from below and grace descends without exclusion, forming the two movements of Ayodhya's living worship.
A whole city lifts Rama's name, and the treasury of compassion answers by remaining gracious toward everyone.

एहि बिधि नगर नारि नर करहिं राम गुन गान। सानुकूल सब पर रहहिं संतत कृपानिधान।।30।।
In this way, the men and women of the city sang the glories of Rama. And the treasure-house of compassion remained ever gracious toward all.
