Raghupati, mass of compassion, receives every member of the returning company one by one with love. The searchers who expected death beside the salt ocean are gathered into the Lord's embrace.

Rama asks after their welfare. He does not pass over the exhausted many in his urgency for the one piece of news they carry.

They answer from his lotus feet: now all is well. Success, survival, reunion, and the joy of Sita's discovery find their completion not in Madhuvana's honey but in returning to the master who sent them.

The search ends in Rama's embrace, where the monkeys name the sight of his feet as their true welfare.

Read the passage from the Manas

प्रीति सहित सब भेटे रघुपति करुना पुंज। पूँछी कुसल नाथ अब कुसल देखि पद कंज।।29।।

Raghupati, that mountain of compassion, embraced them all with love and asked of their welfare. "Lord, now all is well, having beheld Your lotus feet."
