The Madhuvana Guards Complain to Sugriva, Who Hears Victory in the Ruin

The beaten guards leave Madhuvana after the feast and run to Sugriva. Their complaint is that the crown prince and his company are devastating the royal grove.
Sugriva does not answer the ruined fruit and honey with anger. At once, the very boldness of the celebration tells him what no formal messenger has yet said.
The monkeys have accomplished the Lord's work. Had they failed, they would not dare enter Madhuvana in such joy. Sugriva hears the news of Sita inside the report of a garden broken open by relief.
The guards report a ruined garden, and Sugriva hears that Rama's mission has succeeded.
Read the passage from the Manas
जाइ पुकारे ते सब बन उजार जुबराज। सुनि सुग्रीव हरष कपि करि आए प्रभु काज।।28।।
The guards went and cried out to Prince Angada: "They are destroying the forest!" Hearing this, Sugriva rejoiced, knowing the monkeys had returned, having accomplished the Lord's mission.
