The lord of Kosala honours Janaka as kinsman and beloved companion in every possible way. Courtesy passes between them without calculation, carrying the reverence of two royal houses now joined through their children.
Their meeting is filled with such humility and affection that neither heart can contain it. Love exceeds the roles of host and guest, giver and receiver, Mithila and Ayodhya.
True honour does not preserve distance here. Each king lowers himself before the other and discovers equality made luminous by tenderness. Their overflowing hearts reveal the inward fruit of the wedding: not merely an alliance between kingdoms, but friendship ripened through mutual reverence and shared surrender.
On the open road, royal courtesy becomes the visible language of overflowing love.
