Sita recognizes Gauri's favour and receives a joy beyond telling. The bow remains unbroken and Janaka's vow unchanged, yet divine assurance has entered beneath visible uncertainty.
Beautiful omens arise in her own body. The limbs on her left begin to throb, delicate movements traditionally announcing approaching good fortune while the temple lamps burn softly beside her.
The sign is intimate, carried within rather than displayed across the sky. Sita leaves the shrine with Ram written in her heart, Gauri's garland upon her head, and the body itself quietly confirming the blessing.
Beneath Gauri's garland, Sita's own body begins to whisper that Ram will be hers.

Knowing Gauri to be favourable, Sita felt a joy beyond all telling. Beautiful, auspicious omens appeared: her left limbs began to throb.
