Ram and Lakshmana return to Vishwamitra, inwardly praising Sita's beauty. Ram's nature is simple, sincere, and untouched by deceit, so he tells Kaushika everything that occurred in the garden.
The sage receives the flowers, completes worship, and blesses both brothers: may the desires of your hearts be fulfilled. Ram and Lakshmana hear the words with joy, the guru's benediction meeting Gauri's blessing across the unseen distance.
After food, Vishwamitra narrates ancient stories. Evening arrives, and with permission the brothers perform their prayers. The moon rises in the east, recalling Sita's face, yet reflection quickly reveals that the comparison cannot stand.
Gauri blesses Sita, Vishwamitra blesses Ram, and the evening moon rises between them.
Read the passage from the Manas
Praising Sita's loveliness in His heart, the two brothers returned to the Guru. Ram told Kaushika everything, for His simple nature holds no trace of deceit.
