Ram is all pervading and beyond perception. Desire cannot move him, birth cannot begin him, and no guna, name, or form can define the Reality he is.
Yet for devotees he accepts names, visible forms, family duties, study, play, obedience, and the particular movement of one prince through one beloved city. Transcendence does not withdraw from detail.
His deeds are incomparable and countless because love continually gives the formless new ways to become near. The Absolute remains untouched while every Leela becomes completely real within devotion, luminous with freedom rather than necessity.
Without name or form, he answers to Ram and walks the streets of Ayodhya.

ब्यापक अकल अनीह अज निर्गुन नाम न रूप। भगत हेतु नाना बिधि करत चरित्र अनूप।।205।।
All-pervading, beyond perception, desireless, unborn, beyond all qualities, without name or form. Yet for the sake of His devotees, He enacts incomparable deeds in countless ways.
