Ekatanu gives the vow its immense scale. Every day Pratapbhanu must invite one hundred thousand new brahmins, not alone but together with their entire families.
The royal kitchens will appear inexhaustible. Courtyards, dining rows, vessels, servers, water, grain, and hospitality must renew themselves daily as another vast assembly enters beneath the king's roof.
For the whole duration, the disguised enemy promises to prepare the feast. What looks like unprecedented reverence toward sacred households will carry a purpose none of the guests knows. A year of generosity is designed to bring every recipient beneath hidden control.
Day after day, a hundred thousand families approach tables prepared by an unseen enemy.

नित नूतन द्विज सहस सत बरेहु सहित परिवार। मैं तुम्हरे संकलप लगि दिनहिंकरिब जेवनार।।168।।
"Each day, invite one hundred thousand Brahmins afresh, together with their families. For the whole duration of your sacred vow, I shall prepare the feast daily." (Nita nootana dwija sahasa sata, barehu sahita parivara. Main tumhare sankalpa lagi, dinahin karib jevanara.)
