Pratapbhanu's hidden desire rises into words. Let his body be free from old age, death, and sorrow. Let no warrior defeat him when armies meet and weapons close around the throne.
He asks to rule the whole earth beneath one sovereign canopy, unchallenged and without a single enemy. The horizon of the request stretches beyond an ordinary life or dynasty.
May such reign endure for one hundred kalpas. Before the supposed ancient ascetic, imperial success expands into near immortality. The king who had offered every righteous deed to Vasudeva now seeks a security so complete that time, battle, grief, and opposition must all bow.
Pratapbhanu asks one royal canopy to remain over the earth for a hundred kalpas.

जरा मरन दुख रहित तनु समर जितै जनि कोउ। एकछत्र रिपुहीन महि राज कलप सत होउ।।164।।
May your body be free from old age, death, and sorrow. May no one defeat you in battle. May you reign over the earth unchallenged, without a single enemy, for a hundred kalpas.
