Parvati places her head upon the earth at Shiva's feet and entreats him with joined hands. She asks for the spotless glory of Raghuvar. Dust touches her brow as the daughter of the mountain makes herself lower than the ground.
Story alone will not satisfy the depth of the question. Shiva must draw out the final meaning of Shruti, distilling the Vedic conclusion until Leela and truth can be received together.
The posture of complete prostration reveals the intended use of doctrine. Knowledge is sought not for mastery over mystery, but for surrender without confusion.
At Shiva's feet, Parvati waits for the Vedas to become the living story of Ram.
