No one can hold composure. Kamadeva steals the mind from the place where discipline had seated it, and every inward defence gives way.
One refuge remains. Those whom Raghuvir keeps beneath his protection survive the hour without being carried away. Their strength is not presented as private mastery greater than the cosmos.
Grace holds what willpower cannot. When desire becomes universal weather, remembrance of Ram becomes the shelter no storm can enter. The protected ones do not claim victory over Kama. They remain because Raghuvir has kept them near. The storm cannot see them.
The world bends beneath Kama, while the ones held by Ram remain within an unseen shelter.

धरी न काहूँ धिर सबके मन मनसिज हरे। जे राखे रघुबीर ते उबरे तेहि काल महुँ।।85।।
No one could hold their composure; Kamadeva stole every heart. Only those sheltered by Raghuvir were saved in that hour.
