Within Bharadvaja's hermitage, the gathered sages speak of Brahman beyond comparison. They unfold the laws of dharma and distinguish the principles through which the many layered world appears. Thought moves carefully, as clear as winter light over the confluence. Nothing essential is excluded from their inquiry.

Yet their discourse does not end in classification. They speak of devotion to Bhagavan joined with jnana and vairagya. Love, knowledge, and detachment sit together, neither cancelling nor diminishing the others.

The rivers outside merge without confusion. Within the assembly, the paths of the spirit reveal the same harmony.

Beside three mingled rivers, devotion, knowledge, and detachment flow as one.

Read the passage from the Manas

ब्रह्म निरूपम धरम बिधि बरनहिं तत्त्व बिभाग। कहहिं भगति भगवंत कै संजुत ग्यान बिराग।।44।।

They describe the nature of Brahman, the laws of dharma, and the classification of tattvas. They speak of devotion to Bhagavan, united with jnana and vairagya.
