Gods shower flowers and celestial women sing as Janaka's gifts are placed before Dasharatha. The king accepts them lovingly, rewards the bearers, and receives full honour before being escorted toward the guest lodgings.
Coloured cloths and extraordinary carpets cover the way. The accommodations offer every comfort so abundantly that wealth itself would abandon pride upon seeing them.
When Sita learns that the procession has entered the city, she reveals a glimpse of her hidden majesty. Remembering all the siddhis within her heart, she commands them to serve the royal guests. The bride appears sheltered among palace women, yet divine powers move at her unspoken direction through every chamber of hospitality.
From within the palace, Sita sends unseen powers to make every guest feel the fullness of her welcome.

बरषि सुमन सुर सुंदरि गावहिं। मुदित देव दुंदुभीं बजावहिं।। बस्तु सकल राखीं नृप आगें। बिनय कीन्ह तिन्ह अति अनुरागें।। प्रेम समेत रायँ सबु लीन्हा। भै बकसीस जाचकन्हि दीन्हा।। करि पूजा मान्यता बड़ाई। जनवासे कहुँ चले लवाई।। बसन बिचित्र पाँवड़े परहीं। देखि धनहु धन मदु परिहरहीं।। अति सुंदर दीन्हेउ जनवासा। जहँ सब कहुँ सब भाँति सुपासा।। जानी सियँ बरात पुर आई। कछु निज महिमा प्रगटि जनाई।। हृदयँ सुमिरि सब सिद्धि बोलाई। भूप पहुनई करन पठाई।।
The gods showered flowers from heaven while celestial maidens sang in sweet melody. The delighted devas joyfully beat their divine dundubhi drums. All the gifts and treasures were placed before the king. The welcoming party made their humble offerings with deep affection. With great love the king accepted everything. He gave generous rewards to all the gift-bearers. After performing pooja and showing due honor and praise, they escorted the guests toward the janavaas lodgings. Wondrous carpets and colorful cloths were spread along the way; even Dhan, the goddess of wealth, would set aside her pride upon beholding such splendor. Most beautiful lodgings were arranged, where every guest found comfort and ease in every way. When Sita learned that the baraat had entered the city, she revealed a glimpse of her own divine mahima. Remembering in her heart, she summoned all the siddhis and sent them forth to serve and honor the royal guests.
