Sita praises Gauri as giver of boons whose service makes the four human aims easily attainable. Gods, humans, and sages become blessed at her lotus feet, and the Mother already knows the desire hidden within Sita's heart.

Sita clasps the goddess's feet. Moved by humility and love, Bhavani smiles, and the garland slips from her image. Sita receives the blessed flowers and places them reverently upon her head.

Gauri speaks with joy. The blessing is true, and Sita's desire will be fulfilled. Narada's words are pure and unfailing. She will obtain the very husband upon whom her heart has settled.

The garland falls from Gauri's smile and rests upon Sita's bowed head.

Read the passage from the Manas

By serving You the four fruits of life come easily, O Beloved of Purari, O Giver of boons. Worshipping Your lotus feet, O Devi, gods, humans, and sages all find happiness.
